Jamie Anzalone, Owner
Jamie grew up in Buffalo, New York watching his father work hard preparing meals for blue-collar workers at the Metcalfe Café on the southeast side of town. He began his culinary career at a young age as a dishwasher and was quickly recognized by both the Executive Chef and General Manager for a promotion. After deciding on front-of-the-house, Jamie spent the next 10 years as a server at local restaurants.
He fell in love with Napa Valley in 1998 when he made the move out west to become a server at the Wine Spectator Greystone Restaurant at the Culinary Institute of America. He simultaneously excelled in his food and wine education by taking part time classes on campus, after which he went on to enroll as a full time student at The Culinary Institute of America’s Hyde Park, New York campus.
Upon graduating in 2004, Jamie was a Fellow at The CIA’s American Bounty restaurant. He spent the next 5 years traveling the country, working in various hospitality venues such as the Little Nell’s Montagne Restaurant in Aspen, CO as a Private Chef, on the ORO Ranch in Prescott, AZ and finally at L’Auberge Delmar’s Kitchen 1540 in San Diego, CA, but he knew that Napa Valley was where he wanted to be.
Returning to the Valley in 2009, Jamie worked at the Martini House in St. Helena and most recently as Maitre d' Hotel at the Michelin Starred Solbar in Calistoga.
When Jamie returned to the Napa Valley in 2009 he began asking
